Another day down on my trip to the land of fake cheese and unhappy cows. Spent the day driving with my relatives on my mom?s side of the family. Wasn?t too bad but the day sure can drag on at points.
Tonight was the rehearsal dinner for my cousins wedding; it was a bit of controlled chaos. The restaurant was a family style Italian joint so it was loud and fun of people. The food was really good especially the fried calamari. However the coolest point was seeing my cousin Joe (he?s not the one getting married). I haven?t seen Joe in almost 12 years due to the fact the lives in the Midwest and I live in the Bay Area and neither of us have been able to make the trip. In fact the last time we were together I got pulled over and given a field sobriety test, granted it was New Year?s Eve and 2am. The funny part of that was I had just finished DJ?ing a MADD/Walnut Creek school district dance.
One of the things that my family did today was to go to the Kohler Design Center. This is a way cool place to visit if you?re ever in the Milwaukee you need to check it out. The whole Village of Kohler was built as a model community based around the Kohler factory. We ran out of time today but I?m going to go back this week and to get photos and have more time to check the place out.
Anyhow it?s 1:15am here and it?s time for me to crash out since tomorrow is my cousin Jamie?s wedding and it?s going to be a very long day.

Well it’s Saturday and I’m here in the land of Cheese -Wisconsin. It’s nice out here I’m at my aunts house leaching off of her DSL to write this blog. It’s both warm and humid out here it may be 80 degrees but it feels like 98.
Also last night the fog rolled in since my Aunts house is right on Lake Michigan it was really kind of cool it looked like the moor?s. What was really cool about it was that it was foggier then hell but it was warm. If I was back in the Bay Area if it the fog was as think there as it was here I would have needed a winter parka.
Anyhow I need to run we are on our way out to get Bloody Mary’s.

I’ve tested it and it works. You can’t stream the file from the link. You must download it to your computer and then watch it. I know that sucks but that’s the way it is since I don’t have any of the Windows media handlers on my server. I know Mike was able to watch it so he should be able to help you.

This is mainly for Mike.
Anyhow before I head of to the land of no wireless hotspots. I’ll blog about that one later. I felt that I needed to post a like to the second Kenny Roger’s Jackass. (right click and save as to your desktop)

Today as I went by my bank I noticed the dry cleaners right next store. Now this dry cleaning store has been there for years and they have ruined more then one shirt of mine over the years. But the fact of it being there isn?t what shocked me, it was a couple of the ads that they had placed on the window.
The first one was a cartoon character of a Asian women behind a sewing machine doing alterations. Now this isn?t that bad except it being a stereotype but I?m not the politically correct so I really don?t care about this one.
Now the other one was a bit more disturbing. The Sign stated ?We Clean Skins? and it had a picture of a group of young animals in a bathtub. Now I?m not an animal right activist and I like my leather jacket, but something?s are just plain wrong. I just think that using cute little animals in an ad like this is wrong it says ?Hey Kid?s look at the baby sheep, it put the lotion on the skin and place?s it in the basket?
